ZADR short: Message in the Snow

It was a nice cold December, and was closing to Christmas. Zim, would walk home everyday and watch the white flakes fall from the sky, it was nothing like anything on his own planet, he found it beautiful.
Dib, who hated the cold and the restlessness of winter, tried to remain inside as much as possible, to relieve himself of the cold and unforgiving landscape of winter.
Zim, knew Dib was missing out, and hated the thought, so he decided on something very, very devious.
That morning when his plan was in full effect, he contacted Dib on his cell phone.
"What do you want Zim?" Dib yawned tiredly.
"Look outside your window, Zim commands it!" Zim shouted into the phone.
"Fine, but I don't see why it has to do with anything, ever." Dib complained, as he walked to the window in his room.
At first he didn't see it, but then when he did, his eyes widened at the sight.
He quickly ran downstairs, and grabbed his jacket, and then he ran outside. Once outside, he ran straight for Zim, and hugged him.
"How did you know?" Dib asked.
"Zim paid attention, now do not question my logic!" Zim huffed.
Dib nodded, "Okay."
"Now that Zim has done this for you, will you do something for Zim?" Asked Zim, eyes glued to Dib's.
"Yes anything!" Dib smiled.
"Never stop." Zim grinned.
"Never stop what?" Asked Dib.
"Never stop believing." Zim replied, as he began walking away.
"Zim, wait!" Dib called after him.
Dib ran for him, Zim though kept walking. They were almost at Zim's house, when he finally turned.
Dib however, had not anticipated for him to turn, and ran right into him, full force.
Their lips met for the first time that day. Even now, years later, the message in the snow, still was replayed in Dib's mind as he held his small child in his arms. The message was,
"Dear Dib-thing,
You chase Zim, like you chase your dreams. It is a never ending loop. Just remember, I never hated you.
Yours in eternity,
INVADER ZIM"
